BINUS UNIVERSITY graduates have emerged among Indonesia’s most sought-after young professionals making an impact nationally and on the global scale. One alumna bringing forth such qualities to the international stage is Ms Alanda Kariza who was invited to participate as a panellist at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland from 20th – 23rd January 2016.
Having obtained her undergraduate degree in International Business from BINUS INTERNATIONAL, Ms Kariza was asked to attend this event in her capacity as a member of the Global Shapers Community - a network of hubs developed and led by young people who have exhibited exceptional potential in making a contribution to their communities. Ms Kariza was specifically asked to participate in a World Economic Forum panel discussion on the topic of ‘Culture and the Fourth Industrial Revolution’, a far reaching subject in which she discussed the prospective impact of the rise of virtual reality technologies in enabling people to be more empathetic towards other communities and cultures.
As a leading private institution in Indonesia, BINUS UNIVERSITY offers unprecedented learning experiences through a versatile curriculum coupled with state-of-the-art facilities. Ms Kariza’s recent success stands as testament to the dedication of BINUS UNIVERSITY in its ongoing efforts to fulfill the need for a new generation of leaders in Indonesia.
