Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo is the current rector of BINUS UNIVERSITY as well as the Director of Knowledge Management & Innovation, having first been appointed to this position in 2009. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Diponegoro University before later attaining a master’s degree from BINUS UNIVERSITY as well as a doctorate degree in Business Management from Padjajaran University in 2005.
Prof. Prabowo's career as an academic at BINUS UNIVERSITY began in 1994, when he joined the university as a lecturer. Prior to becoming the rector in 2009, he served as the university's Operational Director (1998 – 2005) as well as its CIO (2005 – 2009). He is now in his second term as BINUS UNIVERSITY's rector, having been re-appointed to the position in 2013 – a development that stands as testament to his accomplishments in driving the university's profound success in recent years.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo is also currently an active member of numerous organizations including APTIKOM Indonesia and the American Society for Quality.
Iman Herwidiana Kartowisastro, Ph.D is the current Vice Rector of Academic Development and Provost at BINUS UNIVERSITY. Mr Kartowisastro was first appointed to this position in 2009 and is primarily responsible for developing the university's academic policy. Prior to taking upon the role, he served as a Dean for the Faculty of Science & Technology.
Mr Kartowisastro's expertise in this field can be attributed to his extensive academic experience; he obtained a doctorate degree in Robotic Control as well as a master's degree in Information Engineering from City University London.
Nelly, S.Kom., MM currently holds the position of Vice Rector for Academic Operations & Resources at BINUS UNIVERSITY.
Johan, S.Kom., MM is the current Vice Rector for Student Affairs & Community Development at BINUS UNIVERSITY. He attained both his bachelor’s and master’s degree from BINUS UNIVERSITY.
Idris Gautama So, S.Kom., SE, MM, MBA, Ph.D is the existing Vice Rector of Global Employability & Entrepreneurship at BINUS UNIVERSITY. He obtained his doctorate degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Prof. Bahtiar Saleh Abbas, Ph.D is the Vice Rector of Research & Technology Transfer at BINUS UNIVERSITY. As an esteemed figure in Indonesia's academic community, Prof. Abbas first joined the university as a lecturer on the subject of statistics and research and has since become an increasingly integral part of its vision with regards to the publication of research in international journals of the highest repute.
Prof. Abbas' academic background dates back to 1980, when he completed his undergraduate degree studies in Statistics at Institut Pertanian Bogor. He then went on to obtain an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from Iowa State University in the fields of Statistics and Industrial Engineering, respectively.
Ms Pantri Heriyati is the Dean of Faculty of Business at BINUS UNIVERSITY. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Padjajaran University followed by a masters degree from the University of Wollongong. She also received her doctorate degree from the University of Indonesia.
Firdaus Alamsjah, Ph.D presently serves as BINUS INTERNATIONAL's Executive Dean and Provost as well as the President Director. In addition to this, Mr Alamsjah also holds the position of Executive Dean for BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL and therefore plays an integral role in leading the continued development of two of the university's most prominent units. He has spent over 15 years at BINUS, having first joined as a member of BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL's faculty and as a director of BINUS INTERNATIONAL in 2001. Prior to this, Mr Alamsjah was a consultant to numerous multinational corporations such as Astra International, Holcim Indonesia, Jardin Hong Kong, Mitsubishi Asia Pacific, Pertamina, Chevron, and Novartis.
Mr Alamsjah graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 1985 before going to pursue his postgraduate degree studies at the University of Houston. While there, he successfully obtained a Ph.D in the field of Industrial Engineering.
Karen Peyronnin Imam, M.I.B. presently holds the position of Director of BINUS GLOBAL at BINUS UNIVERSITY, having previously served as the head of the undergraduate programme in International Business for BINUS INTERNATIONAL. Ms Imam first joined the BINUS INTERNATIONAL team in 2008 as a faculty member specialising in courses such as International Business and Entrepreneurship, Cross Cultural Management, Business Communication, and Export-Import. She also took upon the responsibility of securing EPAS accreditation for the university as project manager overseeing this initiative.
Ms Imam obtained a masters degree in International Business from Ecole Superieure de Gestion - Management School of Business in 2001.
Prof. Dr. Gerardus Polla, M.App.Sc is the current Director of Graduate Programmes at BINUS UNIVERSITY and oversees its diverse array of master's degree and doctorate degree programmes. Prof. Polla previously had the distinction of serving as BINUS UNIVERSITY's rector between 2005 and 2009, and has since continued to play an integral role in shaping the direction of its postgraduate courses.
Prof. Polla obtained his doctorate degree in Education from Universitas Negeri Jakarta in 1998, and before that obtained a master's degree in Applied Science from Curtin University of Technology in 1977.
Dr. Ho Hwi Chie, M.Sc currently holds the position of Dean of the BINUS ASO School of Engineering and as such draws upon her wealth of academic experience in overseeing the day to day operation of this unit. As a prodigious researcher, Dr. Chie has seen her work published in several leading international journals and forums. Among her most recent accomplishments was the showcasing of her study titled 'Pursuing the Quality of Driving through an Understanding of Job Security, Job Satisfaction, and Perceived Safety as Antecedent of Motorcycling Behaviors in Jakarta, Indonesia' during the International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM 2015).
Minaldi Loeis, M.Sc., MM is the present Dean of the BINUS Northumbria School of Design and also holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Computing & Media for BINUS INTERNATIONAL. Mr Loeis first joined the BINUS family in 2001, having previously accumulated an extensive portfolio of industry experience as an Associate Consultant at EAQC.
Mr Loeis completed his bachelor and masters degree studies at the City University of New York City College between 1986 and 1993, and later went on to obtain an MBA from Monash University in 2001.
Dr. Engkos Achmad Kuncoro, SE, MM presently holds the position of Director of the BINUS Business School Undergraduate Programmes as well as the position of Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Communication at BINUS UNIVERSITY. With extensive experience in both academic and industry settings, Dr. Kuncoro is well-known for his attention to detail in implementing new management systems - itself a function of his expertise as an Auditor for ISO 9001:2000 certification compliance. Dr. Kuncoro obtained his doctorate degree in Education Administration in 2008 from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and prior to that received a master's degree in Agribusiness Management from Institut Pertanian Bogor in 1992.
Mr Edi Abdurachman is the current Director of Graduate Programmes at BINUS UNIVERSITY. He earned his master’s and doctorate degree from the Iowa State University, respectively. Previously, he obtained his bachelor’s degree from Institut Pertanian Bogor.
Mr Stephen Wahyudi Santoso is serves in a dual role as Director of Corporate Strategic Management and Director of BINUS UNIVERSITY Strategic Management. Mr Stephen has an extensive international education experience with a bachelor’s degree and masters degree from University of Pennsylvania and The George Washington University respectively.
Mr Michael Wijaya Hadipoespito is the current Director of Business Development at BINUS UNIVERSITY. He previously held the role of Reporting Officer at the university. Mr Michael obtained a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
Mr Ahmad Syamil is the Dean of BINUS Business School. He previously served as Deputy Dean of BINUS Business School in 2015. Mr Ahmad has numerous international educational experience with a master’s degree from the University of Houston and doctorate degree from University of Toledo.
