BINUS UNIVERSITY is set to host the 3rd International Conference on Computer Science and Computational Intelligence (ICCSCI), at its campus in BSD from 7th-8th September 2018. This annual forum provides a platform for scientists, engineers, and researchers in the field of information communication technology (ICT) to share their knowledge as well as the latest developments from the industry. As such, BINUS UNIVERSITY encourages prospective participants to submit their original and unpublished research papers to the ICCSCI committee to be presented at the event. The deadline for final submission will be 15th May 2018.
The research papers can cover a broad range of topics such as:
The selected papers will be published on Procedia Computer Science — a peer-reviewed scientific journal — and indexed by Scopus — the world’s largest citation database for peer-reviewed literature — and thus help to showcase the research to a global audience. Furthermore, the conference will also feature keynote speeches from Prof. Dr. Fabrice Meriaudeu from the University of Burgundy, Dr Eng. Mohamad Ivan Fanany as the Head of Machine Learning and Computer Vision at the University of Indonesia, and Mr On Lee as CEO & CTO of GDP Labs and CTO of Kaskus, an Indonesian online forum. These industry leaders are set to provide invaluable insights on the continuing impact of ICT on both the academic and commercial landscape in the country and abroad.
Through hosting the ICCSCI conference, BINUS UNIVERSITY hopes to educate participants on the need for Indonesia to further develop its ICT capabilities. From managing important issues such as transparency for companies and government institutions to advancing military hardware, the constructive use of ICT can increase stakeholder confidence in the country’s business climate and boost its global competitiveness.
