BINUS UNIVERSITY announces a call for paper initiative for the International Conference on Immersive Technology (InCITECH) 2017 event that is scheduled to take place from 21st – 23rd November 2017 at the university’s Anggrek campus in Jakarta. This year’s InCITECH event will be the kick-start to what will be an annually-held event that serves as a forum for information communication technology (ICT) experts as well as teaching professionals of the study. As part of the conference programme, participants are given the opportunity to submit their original and unpublished papers to the InCITECH committee which encompasses a broad range of topics on immersive technology in fields such as business, film and journalism, internet of things, robotics, and healthcare among others; the deadline for paper submissions is on 21st July 2017.
BINUS UNIVERSITY will utilise the Open Conference Systems for the paper submission process and furthermore, the university has created a detailed list of requirements for participants; the aforementioned details can be viewed on the official event website. As a leading higher education institution renowned for its industry-based curricula, BINUS UNIVERSITY encourages participants to submit papers that have significance to today’s ever-changing society in addition to clarity and accuracy in the technical explanations of immersive technology so as to provide real world solutions to Indonesian society. Each paper submission will be reviewed by three appointed committee members which encompasses academics, researchers, and seasoned professionals. In understanding the fast-changing pace of technology, BINUS UNIVERSITY will also organise workshops and industrial exhibitions that is tailored to provide more direct insights impacting the field of ICT; the university is also accepting proposals for tutorials, special sessions, and demos for individuals who are interested in partaking in said events.
