Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s Career Development Division plays an active role in assisting and developing both graduate and undergraduate students to ensure they have the necessary attributes required by today’s employers. Students attend seminars provided by guest lecturers from the private sector, soft skill workshops and on site company visits to effectively link and match graduates with the needs of businesses. Mock interviews are also carried out by professionals from the fields of human resources and recruitment to effectively prepare students for the recruitment process.
For both graduate and undergraduate students, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya organises an annual Talent Fair and biannual Career Day for recruiters to meet potential candidates. Companies are given the opportunity to present their company and their vacancies as well as the skills and personality types that they are looking for to complement their workforce during on campus recruitment days.
Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s graduates offer employers and recruiters qualified and well-rounded individuals who each possess entrepreneurial flair alongside technical knowledge and interpersonal skills. The consistent quality of the school’s graduate talent is illustrated by the vast number of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya alumni present in multinational companies such as Samsung; many of which now fund scholarships at the school. Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s cooperates with numerous companies for direct recruitment of its students including Citibank, GE Indonesia, HSBC, 3M, Reckit Beckinser, P&G and Unilever as well as leading local and state-owned enterprises including Astra International, Telkomsel and BCA. Universitas Prasetiya Mulya therefore welcomes companies setting up in Indonesia or those looking to expand their operations and require qualified human resources, to come and assess the school’s growing pool of talent.
