Prasetiya Mulya on 10th March 2016 took its latest step in entering a new era of continued growth and progress through the appointment of Prof. Agus W. Soehadi, Ph.D as Dean of the School of Business and Economics. Prof. Soehadi’s term as Dean will run from 2016 to 2020, and was formally announced during a ceremony held in the William Soeryadjaya Auditorium at the school’s state-of-the-art BSD campus located in Serpong, Tangerang. Joining Prasetiya Mulya School of Business and Economics’ faculty members in attendance at this event were numerous esteemed guests and senior representatives from the Prasetiya Mulya Foundation including Prof. Dr. Djisman Simandjuntak and Mr. Jusuf Wanandi, SH.
Prof. Soehadi’s appointment as the new Dean of the School of Business and Economics coincides with Prasetiya Mulya’s renewed commitment to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship within its student body, as well as to ensure the sustained development of both soft and hard skills relevant to today’s economy. Having first joined the school in 1990 as a member of the Marketing Faculty, Prof. Soehadi most recently held the position of Vice Dean of Academic Affairs and will therefore also be well positioned to ensure continuity and a seamless transition phase in working towards the achievement of Prasetiya Mulya’s long-term vision and mission.
The appointment ceremony also served to mark the close of Prof. Djoko Wintoro’s successful tenure as Dean of Prasetiya Mulya from 2012 to 2016. During this time, Prof. Wintoro steered the school to numerous milestone achievements including the initiation of new student exchange programmes with Tsinghua University, KAIST and the University of New South Wales, as well as the establishment of strong ties with prominent corporate partners including Mandiri, Bahana, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Unilever and SAP. His accomplishments in this regard have positioned Prasetiya Mulya to play an increasingly influential role in Indonesia’s higher education sector and serve as the foundation for its continued upward trajectory.
