On 26th September 2016, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya in partnership with the university’s Community Service Centre hosted an event on ‘sociopreneurship’ as a means to highlight the rising trend of this modern-day form of business activity. The “Inclusive and Sustainable Community Service through Entrepreneurship Activities” event was held in Jakarta in which a number of senior faculty members also attended the programme. Among the attendees were Mr M. Setiawan Kusmulyono as Manager of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s Community Service Centre, Dr Rudy Handoko as Vice Dean III at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s School of Business and Economics in addition to Mr Herawandi as the university’s business partner.
The recently-held event illustrates Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s mission to educate students as well as the public on business education and entrepreneurship in order to improve upon the welfare of local communities in Indonesia. During the event, Mr Herawandi shared his insights regarding the university’s longstanding assistance namely in business development strategies that has therefore led to his company’s business success.
