On 30th November 2016, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dynapack Indonesia in a measure to develop the learning resources of the university’s recently-established Energy Engineering study programme. Rector of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya Prof. Dr. Djisman Simandjuntak and President Director of Dynapack Indonesia Ms Emmeline Hambali carried out the MOU signing at the university’s BSD campus.
This latest partnership will aim to develop renewable energy technologies specifically for plastic waste treatment that can be implemented across various industries in Indonesia; as a leading plastics and packaging manufacturer in Indonesia, Dynapack Indonesia is seeking innovative ways to optimise its plastic waste management capabilities. Furthermore, Dynapack Indonesia will make available internship programmes for Universitas Prasetiya Mulya students as well as guest lecturers and industrial visits. This will provide students with the platform that encourages innovation and technical know-how on plastic waste management in Indonesia. Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s recent collaboration with Dynapack Indonesia showcases the university’s efforts to initiate creative solutions so as to realise Indonesia's aspiration in achieving self-sustainability.
