On 29th September 2016, Bank Victoria signed an MOU with esteemed state-owned bank, Bank BNI. This latest cooperation will see Bank BNI assist Bank Victoria in its capacity to enter the foreign exchange market. President Director of Bank Victoria Mr Daniel Budirahayu, Deputy Director of Bank Victoria, Mr Rusli and Director of Treasury at Bank BNI Mr Panji Irawan conducted the MOU signing.
Through this cooperation, Bank BNI will provide training programmes to improve the skills and quality of Bank Victoria’s human capital in addition to assisting the bank in attaining a license from the Financial Services Authority to be eligible to engage in foreign exchange services; obtaining the license will also enable Bank Victoria to conduct international trade finance services in as well as international trade finance and other international interbank transactions.
In establishing this strategic collaboration with Bank BNI, Bank Victoria can expand the type of services it offers both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, with Indonesia’s banking industry becoming increasingly competitive, Bank Victoria and Bank BNI will further benefit from the greater number of financial transactions that is set to occur in the coming years.
