On 21st February 2017, BNI Syariah signed an MOU with the Creative Economy Agency at the Swiss-Bell Hotel in Jakarta. The MOU aims to utilise BNI Syariah’s products and services for the support of businesses in Indonesia’s creative industries — the Creative Economy Agency is a non-government institution that is responsible for the development of Indonesia’s creative economy. Through this most recent collaboration, BNI Syariah will provide a valuable foundation for businesses trying to harness the potential of indigenous products for the global market.
Present at the event were Director of BNI Syariah Mr Imam Teguh Saptono and Mr Triawan Munaf as head of the Creative Economy Agency. This latest partnership will see BNI Syariah provide a special financing scheme through credit-lending for small businesses and entrepreneurs in addition to providing access to BNI Syariah’s products and services; additional financing will open opportunities for investment and export partnerships for creative businesses.
BNI Syariah’s cooperation with the Creative Economic Agency is in-line with the objective of the bank’s ‘Hasanah Lifestyle Banking’ principle which supports the development of innovation and creativity.
