On 2nd June 2016, BNI Syariah received an award for ‘The Best Indonesia Digital Popular Brand 2016’ hosted by Transco Research at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jakarta. The ceremony was held to highlight renowned local companies with a strong online brand presence in Indonesia. As part of the award, research was carried out on brands through search engines, social media, or website-based methods. BNI Syariah’s emphasis on customer engagement – which can be seen through the bank’s active social media presence such as Facebook and Twitter – therefore bolstered its position upon obtaining its most recent accolade in the shariah savings category. This is in keeping with the bank’s priority on the ‘one stop banking’ concept which aims to provide customer convenience. Moving forward, BNI Syariah is expected to increase its brand awareness in the region by maximising its current digital presence.
