On 19th November 2016, BNI Syariah in cooperation with Group Equator Entrepreneur (GEE) hosted an event regarding strategies on repositioning small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia so as to establish an international market presence. Prominent attendees of the event included President Director of BNI Syariah, Mr Imam Teguh Saptono and CEO of Yukbisnis, Mr Jaya Setiabudi in addition to GEE Indonesia community members. In hosting the latest event, BNI Syariah hopes to support local SMEs as well as business owners with the company's shariah financing services; this initiative is in keeping with BNI Syariah and GEE Indonesia’s unparalleled dedication to bolstering the growth of SMEs in the country.
As part of the event, BNI Syariah provided wide-ranging event programmes such as workshops, talk-shows, and general lectures on the topic of “Repositioning SMEs: A Leader in the Domestic Market and Capable of Entering International Markets.” Furthermore, the company also held a coaching clinic which offered information regarding business management and shariah-compliant financial accountancy. In doing so, BNI Syariah hopes to develop a financially literate society with the capacity to strengthen the national economy.
