Pan Brothers Tbk is aiming to begin construction for two new factories in 2017 as the company forges ahead to increase its annual production capacity in addition to accommodating to the needs of its premier client portfolio. The upcoming project will be carried out by its subsidiary company, PT Eco Smart Garment Indonesia in which the factories are expected to be completed by mid-2018. Pan Brothers Tbk also recently opened a new factory based in Tasikmalaya under PT Teodore Pan Garmindo. Currently, Pan Brothers Tbk has 23 manufacturing facilities establishing across various key cities in Indonesia – including Bandung, Semarang, and Serang – and boasts a yearly production capacity of 90 million pieces of clothing. According to President Director of Pan Brothers Tbk’s Ms Anne Patricia Sutanto, the company is looking to setup the new factories either in Central Java or West Java; the cost of the new factories is expected to reach approximately $30 million USD.
In 1Q17, Pan Brothers Tbk listed a 9.67% year-on-year increase in the company’s sales figures thus amounting to $100.2 million USD whereas the company’s annual sales growth in 2016 increased by 15.2% totalling to $482.2 million USD.
