As part of its all-encompassing manufacturing capabilities, Nirwana Group provides knitted garment manufacturing services capable of undertaking diverse knitting techniques. The group is then able to produce a diverse range of single and double-knitted fabrics ranging from French Terry fabrics to rib knit fabrics, single jersey fabrics, pique, Lacoste fabrics, in addition to striper fabrics primarily used in garments that incorporate alternating colour designs. As such, the fabrics are available in a wide selection of materials such as cotton, polyester, rayon, and many more; the group is also able to manufacture a blend of raw materials so as to cater to the needs of its clients. The group’s large fabric selection enables the group to manufacture men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes in addition to household items such as towels, bathrobes, bed sheets, and pyjamas.
Nirwana Group applies automated and semi-automated cylinder knitting machines throughout its knitted garment manufacturing operations. The group utilises the latest in knitting machinery resulting in a daily capacity of 100 tonnes of textiles; Nirwana Group's garments are produced utilising the company's current 40 production lines — the group plans to increase to 60 production lines by 2018 and thus producing up to 1,000,000 garment pieces per month. After receiving the garment designs and specifications from the client, Nirwana Group utilises high-quality yarn in making knitted garments. This is formed by interlocking the yarn into loops with hooked needles, and, in accordance with the purpose of the fabric, the loops can be adjusted to be loosely or closely constructed.
In the production of knitted fabrics, the entire fabric can be made from single or double sets of yarn with stitches running horizontally across the fabric. The group uses single jersey, rib, French Terry, and double-knitted stitches to produce the desired fabrics — Nirwana Group has also the capacity to manufacture spandex fabrics for sportswear. The fabrics are then sorted and dyed before undergoing finishing to ensure fabric stability before they are finally cut with precision into the desired garment designs and patterns and sent to clients.
Nirwana Group operates the latest in knitting machinery for its knitted garment manufacturing service increasing efficiency, quality and accuracy throughout the production process. As such, the garments produced have underlying properties such as shape retention, comfort, stretching properties, and edges that do not curl. Such properties are ideal for producing sweaters, jerseys, blouses, jackets, t-shirts, and underwear among many others. The group's capacity to produce a large selection of garments through its knitted garment manufacturing facilities allows Nirwana Group to be well-positioned to serve local and international brands in this regard.
