The Faculty of Law as the second oldest department within Tarumanagara University makes available an undergraduate degree program as the ideal launch pad for professions including legal consultant, notary, in-house lawyer, and mediator. This course of study seeks to develop competency not only in legal concepts and theory but also in critical thinking, creativity and innovation to produce graduates able to adapt quickly within Indonesia’s oft-changing regulatory environment.

Students enrolled in this undergraduate program are expected to earn 148 credits over the course of between 7 to 14 semesters. Graduates from this course of study can choose to obtain a graduate degree within the same faculty, which offers both masters degree and PhD programs, or can tap into a network of 3,500 law degree alumni as well as Tarumanagara’s Career Centre and many recruitment events to kick-start their careers. In this regard, students benefit from the opportunity to contribute to UNTAR’s academic journal Era Hukum and student magazine Adigama as a means to circulate their research and achievements prior to applying for a job or graduate school.
