Tarumanagara University | Masters Degree Programs

Tarumanagara University’s evolution as an academic institution ready to adapt to new trends in higher education has seen it introduce a targeted selection of masters degree programs.  Focusing on areas in which it has amassed extensive expertise through decades of offering corresponding undergraduate courses, UNTAR currently offers masters degrees in law, management, accounting, psychology and accounting. Equally responsive to the need for human resources from industry, the university also makes available graduate level studies in Civil Engineering and Urban Planning to provide quality human resources for the many large scale infrastructure and property development projects set to take place in the immediate future in Indonesia and the ASEAN region.

Masters degree programs at Tarumanagara University are renowned for the attentiveness of faculty members in working closely with graduate students. Distinct from other large universities, UNTAR mandates that all sessions are taught by lecturers holding masters degrees and PhDs as opposed to by teaching assistants. Students are thus given the support and guidance needed to conduct ambitious research projects that have become the trademark for Tarumanagara University’s advanced degree courses.

Going forward, UNTAR is open to forging new partnerships with international universities to create mutually beneficial dual degree programs as well as for more general cooperation such as joint research and scholar exchange. Comprised of a talented, global minded student body, Tarumanagara University’s master degree programs have traditionally served as its primary vehicle to reach out to foreign partners, which to date include Monash University, Delft University of Technology and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
