STEKPI / Trilogi University | Trilogi University Welcomes Newly-Enrolled Students
22.09.2015

Trilogi University welcomed its newest batch of enrolled students with an opening ceremony on 22nd September 2015 led by the university’s Rector Prof. Dr. Asep Saefuddin. The event was followed by a senate hearing chaired by Mr Dian Ruslan, ST., MM, who presented the university’s annual report and shed light on Trilogi University’s growing popularity in Indonesia’s higher education sector. The institution in 2015 saw its number of students rise by more than 200%, which is a particularly notable accomplishment for the departments which experienced the biggest increase in enrolment, namely, Trilogi University’s School of Business, the Faculty of Bioindustry, the Faculty of Creative Industries, and the Faculty of Telematics. Following on from this successful start to the academic year, Trilogi University remains committed to producing skilled entrepreneurs with a strong foundation of knowledge in information, communication, and technology as well as with a drive to move Indonesia forward.

Given the context of today’s increasingly tech-savvy market, Mr Suryo Bambang Sulisto as Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) in delivering his remarks as guest speaker emphasised the importance of ‘technopreneurs’ and encouraged students to strive for innovation. With Indonesia poised to become a top 10 economic powerhouse by 2030 according to the McKinsey Global Institute, institutions such as Trilogi University stand to play a critical role in initiating the development of talented human resources and future business leaders. Driven by the pillars of technopreneurship, collaboration, and independence, Trilogi University continues to take a step-by-step approach to realising Indonesia’s massive economic potential.
