S1 Business

This four year full time study program focuses on developing core business attributes, namely business knowledge and concepts, entrepreneurial character and social awareness. Throughout the course, students are progressively challenged in their learning process and execution abilities. The first semester builds up a foundation body of knowledge through use of case studies and project tasks that provide experience in business opportunity assessment.

Maintaining a strong focus on enhancing practical skills by active application of theory; students are expected to create a business in their second semester which is followed up by subsequent business development projects. For the final project in the fourth year, students are provided with the choice of group business projects, individual case studies or research.

The S1 Business program has been specifically designed to develop the leadership skills needed by the country’s future entrepreneurs. Participants in the course develop their capabilities in analytical thinking, taking measured risks as well as becoming attuned to the creative thinking needed to be able to compete on the global stage.

S1 Marketing

This four year, full time degree takes a practical business approach to the essential commercial ingredient of branding and marketing; crucial to establishing a new business and maintaining the edge of an existing one. This course focuses on developing the creative and adaptive thought processes needed for a career in the dynamic, fast paced world of global marketing.

In the first year students build up their knowledge base in the classroom and then have the opportunity to see the practical application through a compulsory internship program. Within the second year of the course, further marketing knowledge is taught and then students put their acquired skills to use by being assigned to a real marketing project that tests them in everyday business situations. In the third year, students make their choice to major in either Digital Marketing or Brand Management. Collaboration is encouraged among students of different disciplines through joint projects with S1 Business students on marketing consultancy. In the fourth year, students are given the choice of a marketing internship project or research for their final task.

Indonesia Management Course

S1 Finance

This full time, four year undergraduate course is designed for students that wish to take the Chartered Financial Analyst examinations as well as those that intend to go on to further education such as an MBA in the fields of finance, investment and banking. The curriculum is therefore constructed around the CFA program Body of Knowledge which is internationally recognised.

In the first and second years of the course, teaching is focused on accounting and statistics to develop analytical and quantative skills. Basic finance is also covered on courses related to corporate finance and investment to establish core understanding. Such knowledge is used as the foundation for the teaching of specialised finance courses in the third year including business valuation and derivative securities. In the final year of the program, students take on an in-depth research project on a area of finance to their choosing.

Graduate Degree Program

Regular Masters in Management

The Regular MM course is full time for a duration of 16 months made up of 4 trimesters and allows the choice between two areas of speciality, namely marketing or financial management. Additional subjects are also available including business law, group dynamics and business ethics so that the course is tailored to the needs of the participant.

The program is designed to cater to a profile of student that has undertaken undergraduate studies, but has limited practical experience. Holistic in the teaching approach, Prasetiya Mulya actively develops crucial soft skills through character development alongside a firm understanding of business knowledge and key concepts that builds upon previous studies. Within the course they will cultivate core business communication skills required by managers such as negotiating, effective presenting and interviews.

Executive MM in Business Management

The part time Executive MM in Business Management is designed for those with previous work experience of at least 2 years that are seeking to enter a managerial post. To meet the time constraints of students in employment, classes are held three times a week and the time for completion is flexible over 20 months. The program attracts professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly those involved in finance, ICT, manufacturing and natural resources.

The course alternates between classroom based part time learning and intensive study within a curriculum that has been specifically created to enable students to accelerate the progression of their career. Practical knowledge is expanded upon with the main focus on business management. In the fourth trimester, students are given the choice between one or two minor focuses of marketing management and financial management.

This part time Executive MM course has been crafted to meet the demands of experienced business executives that are seeking to enhance their leadership skills and abilities in complex decision making processes, at a managerial level. Offering teaching alongside valuable career networking, this program is designed for students with a background of at least 5 years working experience and 2 years in a managerial role. Teaching is carried out over 5 trimesters within 20 months.

The course teaching focuses on the strategic management skills needed for high level decisions in business as well as the other core competencies required by effective managers.
