DEN Indonesia | Boiler Manufacture

DEN is a pioneer in Indonesian boiler manufacture, design and engineering. Through DEN’s in-house manufacturing facilities, boilers and all complimentary components such as fans, travelling grate stoker systems, tubular air heaters and pollution control filters are produced internally. This contributes to keeping costs competitive as well as facilitating the fast replacement of parts and therefore minimal downtime for customers.

DEN has become the boiler provider of choice for many of Indonesia’s leading companies in a broad cross section of industries such as mining, sugar mills, fertilizer and utilities. Each client is approached with individual solutions and options from field erected boilers that are either top supported or bottom supported as well as natural circulation design. Each boiler is crafted to precise specifications in terms of steam flow, design pressure and design temperature with no limitation on capacity.

One of DEN’s areas of niche expertise is in small scale boilers for small power plant applications which are particularly suited to Indonesia’s outlying islands. Standard small scale boilers are available ranging from 3-20 MW in capacity and <100 T steam per hour. To address the growing need for energy production in extremely small communities of less than 20,000 people, DEN has also introduced new boilers developed for use in 1.5 MW mini steam power plants. The company’s boilers feature a double drum unit, high efficiency at >82% and a flexible fuel system as well as utilising coal or biomass.

Stokers are a further area of DEN’s engineering and manufacturing expertise offering highly effective stokers for burning bituminous and lignite coals in addition to biomass, solid waste and industrial by-products. DEN’s own spreader stoker design features continuous ash discharge, longer coal residence time and a separated carbon reinjection system providing excellent flexibility to meet load fluctuations working in sync with the volatile rhythm of industrial operations. The stokers are available in a selection of capacities depending on the application be it for small scale commercial or high intensity use as the units can produce up to 200 T of steam per hour.
