BNI Syariah and its Perkumpulan Pensiunan PT BNI Syariah organisation contributed in the opening of the shariah bank’s Wall of Fame, which will be used to display BNI Syariah’s prestigious accolades from the past three years.

As a prominent Islamic bank in Indonesia, BNI Syariah pursues business growth while remaining responsible to local communities in keeping with its corporate principle of hasanah. The launch of BNI Syariah’s Mobil Cerdas Hasanah mobile stands as one of the new CSR initiatives funded by the shariah bank’s total alms contributions (zakat) amounting to 17 billion IDR in 2015. The Mobil Cerdas Hasanah is a moving library making available a wide-array of books, a reading corner, and state-of-the-art audio visual facilities to Indonesia’s underprivileged or disaster-stricken communities. To maximise the utilisation of Mobil Cerdas Hasanah’s educational resources, BNI Syariah is partnering with Islamic-principled organisations dedicated to children such as Dongeng Ceria Management, Relawan Siaga, dan Desis. Through “The Journey of Hasanah” event, BNI Syariah has showcased its capabilities as a leading company at the forefront of Indonesia’s Islamic banking sector.
