Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills | Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills Hosts Students from ITB
21.04.2016

Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills on 21st April 2016 hosted its latest initiative to encourage the development of Indonesia’s next generation of leaders and innovators by welcoming students from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) to its manufacturing facilities in Bandung, West Java. Currently enrolled in the university’s esteemed Faculty of Civil & Environmental Engineering, the students were particularly interested in visiting the company’s Waste Water Treatment System – one of the many systems put in place by Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills as part of its commitment to protecting the environment (See Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills Commended for its Efforts to Protect the Environment).

This site visit by ITB students follows on from similar recent events in which Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills sought to work closely with institutions of higher education in the Bandung area. The company in April also hosted several professors from Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Tekstil (STTT) Bandung – an institute specifically focused on producing skilled graduates in the field of textiles – who took the opportunity to monitor the progress of their students carrying out internships at the factory.

Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills is currently already partnered with Parahyangan Catholic University (See Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills Partners with Parahyangan Catholic University), and has seen its directors participate in numerous workshops and conferences aimed at providing guidance and insights to Indonesia’s future entrepreneurs and business leaders. In this regard, the company is fully committed to ensuring that it has a long-term impact in driving continued economic progress in Indonesia.
