Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills announces plans to go public between 2015 and 2016, with the goal of funding the development of an industrial estate in the Bandung area.

11th March 2015

Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills releases further details with regards to its plans to dedicate half of the 12 hectare industrial estate to the construction of new integrated manufacturing facilities for its own textile production operations.

The Eco Business Park is to be developed by a separate entity under Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills and will make available space for mixed industries to construct new manufacturing facilities. To be located 1 km from the company’s existing factory south of Bandung, West Java, and less than 15 minutes away from the Mohammad Toha Toll Road, this project will offer prime industrial real estate to manufacturing businesses seeking access to the latest amenities and a stable electricity supply powered by a 20 MW LNG powerplant.

Of the 12 ha of land currently being earmarked for the Eco Business Park, 6 ha will be used for the construction of the company’s own new integrated factory. Half of the remaining land will be sold, while the rest is to be rented primarily to other textile manufacturers looking to take advantage of close proximity to a bevy of upstream and downstream players in the industry. In this regard, the industrial estate is to potentially serve as a hub for modern textile manufacturing in Indonesia.

Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills intends to carry out this project following on from the completion of its IPO tentatively scheduled for 2015-2016. Having already acquired the land required to begin construction, the company expects the project to be completed within 3 years of initial groundbreaking. Entities interested in learning more about this development are encouraged to contact Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills directly.
