Ratu Sima International is Sriboga Raturaya’s most recently established unit within the wheat- based goods manufacturing industry, having been founded in 2014. As the first and only commercial producer of pita bread in Indonesia, the company stands as a pioneer in introducing new bread varieties into the local market through a strategy predicated on the gathering of qualitative and quantitative data on consumer preferences. This approach has seen Ratu Sima International initially focus on promoting product awareness and familiarizing Indonesian consumers with the many applications of pita bread, as a means of building a strong platform from which to supply consumers and businesses alike.

Ratu Sima International’s products are sold under the brand name Sima Bakery, and include three different varieties of Syrian pita breads namely Whole Meal, White, and Mini-White. Produced under the careful supervision of international experts and using the latest in automated machinery imported from Lebanon, these breads offer tastes authentic to the Middle East and Mediterranean, in addition to a superior level of quality synonymous with Sriboga Raturaya. Such attention to detail has facilitated the company’s ability to position its products in leading high-end supermarkets, as well as develop a discerning client base comprised of hotels, restaurants and caterers.

Going forward, Ratu Sima International plans to take advantage of a growing openness towards international cuisine in Indonesia by expanding upon its existing retail presence in Jakarta, Bali, Bandung and Medan. Boasting a production capacity of 15,000 packs of pita bread per day, the company is already well-equipped to meet new demand and has identified new opportunities to supply hospitals with wheat-based goods free of artificial preservatives and chemicals. In the long-term, Ratu Sima International will become the foremost manufacturer of flat-breads in Indonesia, and to this end welcomes collaboration with foreign entities able to provide technology and knowhow.
