On 6th September 2016, Grage Group hosted the 13th edition of the Grage City Waterboom Cup in Cirebon in keeping with the company’s commitment to promoting active lifestyles. The annual event took place at Grage City Waterboom with the company inviting elementary and junior high school students to participate in the swimming competition. Esteemed guests in attendance included President Director of Grage Group Mr Bamunas S Boediman as well as Grage Group’s Managing Director Ms Ratu Sukmayani.

As a company with longstanding experience in property development, Grage Group is renowned for developing residential areas that are fully-equipped with public facilities such as parks and swimming pools. This measure is in-line with its commitment to offer convenience for its residents in addition to illustrating the company’s efforts to raise public awareness on sports activities as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle. During the event, 163 participants had the opportunity to showcase their techniques and skills in swimming; event categories included various distances from the 25-metre, 50-metre, and the 100-metre race. Furthermore, Grage Group offered medals, shopping vouchers and certificates among many other attractive prizes for winners of the competition.

Grage Group is expected to improve upon the Grage City Waterboom Cup in 2017 with plans of hosting the event in Cirebon, Majalengka, and Kuningan while also seeking to add an additional racing category. Through the event, Grage Group hopes to motivate the Cirebon government to host a National Swimming Championship as a means to demonstrate the secondary city’s talented athletes and their immense potential in Indonesia’s sports industry.
