Kamadjaja Logistics | Kamadjaja Logistics Furthers Market Penetration with the Establishment of KLOG Park
09.01.2014

In the 9th January 2014 edition of SWA Magazine, Kamadjaja Logistics was featured in an article touching upon the company’s continued expansion and the outlook for the logistics industry in 2014. As owner and CEO, Mr Hura Kamadjaja discussed in detail his company’s commitment to establishing fully integrated logistics hubs, also known as KLOG Parks, in key areas of Indonesia. Kamadjaja Logistics’ ultramodern KLOG Parks are fully equipped with comprehensive warehousing and distribution facilities as well as domestic and international freight forwarding capabilities. Each of these logistic complexes also makes available land transport and toll manufacturing services – indicative of Kamadjaja Logistics’ willingness to go above and beyond in providing value added services.

Having already opened KLOG Parks in Medan and Surabaya in 2013, Kamadjaja Logistics will launch operations at its latest integrated logistics hub in Cibitung in early 2014; a year many expect to be promising for the Indonesian logistics industry. As an industry of focus in Indonesia’s Masterplan for Economic Acceleration and Expansion (MP3EI), the transportation and logistics market is projected to grow by 13.2% this year (Frost & Sullivan).

It is because of this rapid growth that Mr Kamadjaja remains optimistic despite the emergence of external and internal factors such as the introduction of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015 and a weakening Rupiah, which are expected to pose a challenge to Indonesian businesses in the near future. Moreover, Kamadjaja Logistics is well prepared to adapt to a changing economic environment. As part of the company’s expansion, Mr Kamadjaja has actively carried out transformations to corporate structure to ensure that Kamadjaja Logistics is always ready to evolve with the market. In keeping with their 2013 theme Transformation Towards Growth, Kamadjaja Logistics’ investment in state of the art facilities now positions them to further their key standing in Indonesia’s burgeoning logistics industry.
