Corporate Heritage

Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering was founded in 1982 by a small team of six engineers seeking to provide their expertise in developing integrated communication and monitoring systems for telecommunication projects across Indonesia. In line with the founders’ passion for continuous innovation and their willingness to adapt to industry demand, the company soon moved into the manufacture of DC power systems for cellular base transceiver stations (BTS) and quickly positioned itself as the leader in this domain on the merit of its reliability, flexibility and integrity. Since its evolution into the foremost provider of power system solutions in Indonesia, the company has continued to introduce new technology such as mobile power banks to match the needs of a local market in which remotely located projects with limited access to a stable power supply are commonplace.

Hariff’s heritage as a firm established by engineers and industry experts continues to shape its business strategy, as demonstrated by a company-wide commitment to pursue technological advancement that has a real impact on sectors integral to Indonesia’s economic growth. The company takes pride in its role as problem-solver in addressing challenges faced by local agriculture businesses, and has made a direct contribution to issues such as pest control for plantations through the introduction of solar powered light traps. To ensure that the company is well prepared to carry out projects for a variety of industries, Hariff provides its employees with the latest tools and training, and emphasizes the importance of creativity and innovation in providing high quality engineering services.

Support Services

Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering

Hariff’s comprehensive support services are best characterized by a Network Operations Center (NOC) open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to offer immediate responses to client enquiries, supervise the performance of installed products and mobilize technicians from one of the company’s 17 branches. Such dedication to ensuring long-term client satisfaction through after-sale support separates Hariff from its competitors, and facilitates extended optimal performance for the company’s power systems and rectifiers. Hariff’s field engineers are always on hand to perform preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as lend their expertise as experienced civil, mechanical and electrical engineers to improve upon a project site’s overall efficiency.

Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering’s ability to anticipate issues before they arise through the NOC and then quickly dispatch its skilled human resources to projects located throughout Indonesia has seen it become a trusted supplier to Indonesia’s most prominent telecommunication service providers including Telkomsel, Indosat and XL. This reputation for after-sale excellence also bodes well for the company’s many international principals, for whom Hariff serves as the ideal representative in competing for the many telecommunication projects on Indonesia’s horizon.
