Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering | Renewable Energy Power Solutions

As an active proponent for progress through innovation and technology, Hariff in 2007 expanded its power system engineering capabilities to include renewable energy solutions. This move was precipitated by growing global awareness of the need to develop viable alternatives to fossil fuels as well as by rising demand among telecommunication companies in Indonesia to install multi-source power systems to lessen dependence on any single source of energy. The company thus began offering both hybrid and standalone solar power generating systems for use in powering base transceiver stations, and in doing so developed advanced manufacturing capabilities for solar panels.

Following the introduction of government regulations in 2013 to encourage the use of locally sourced components for the manufacture of solar power plants, the scope of opportunities available to Indonesian firms adept at producing solar panels widened substantially. Building upon its expertise in equipping its telecommunication sector clients with multi-source power systems, Hariff quickly transitioned into providing renewable energy power solutions for the public through large scale projects such as a 15 KW solar power generating system in Papua to smaller-scale initiatives such as the installation of 150 Wp home solar systems in Sukabumi, West Java.

Going forward, Hariff is very much open to cooperating with foreign partners able to provide the latest in green technology and knowhow for power generating solutions. As a local company with more than three decades in the market, Hariff offers an unmatched understanding on how best to adapt renewable energy power solutions to Indonesia. The company is particularly interested in exploring prospective business ventures in the field of biomass as a source of energy for hybrid power systems in Indonesia.
