Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering | Surface Mount Technology Production Line

Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering in 2011 established a surface-mount technology (SMT) production line to manufacture printed circuit boards (PCBs) needed for its own extensive portfolio of electronic equipment, including but not limited to its flagship wireless broadband product, HiMAX. This course of action was aligned with its strategy to continuously develop its capabilities as a manufacturer, so as to be able to locally produce advanced components in anticipation of tighter local content requirements imposed by the government on power system projects. The company’s success in this regard has seen it now also supply other companies with its Hariff-branded PCBs, and earn a reputation for being able to meet custom orders for circuit boards through the use of cutting edge machinery.

In addition to serving Hariff’s in-house needs, the SMT production line manufactures PCBs for a vast array of electronic equipment, with previous orders having been made for televisions and air conditioners. Hariff’s SMT production team is adept at working in accordance with specific circuit board designs provided by the client to ensure seamless installation and performance in the final product.

The SMT production line is comprised of imported surface-mount devices (SMDs) including the state of the art LD300L Loader, the SMP200 Screen Printer and the SRF70i92 Reflow to guarantee the highest standards of end to end production. In addition to exhaustive checks carried out via an automated optical inspection (AOI), Hariff’s technicians also conduct extensive post-production testing on every PCB prior to shipment.

Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering’s SMT production line stands as testament to the company’s position as the ideal partner in Indonesia given the government’s move towards stricter local content manufacturing requirements across multiple sectors (including power generation, oil and gas, and hospitality) and the proposed introduction of incentives for companies who surpass the minimum threshold (such as favorable feed-in tariffs for IPP projects).
