In keeping with their dedication to promoting the importance of healthy lifestyles, Sunpride® sponsored a Sunday Fun Walk hosted by Lovepink, a social organisation founded to provide women diagnosed with breast cancer with a forum to reach out to breast cancer survivors. Attended by scores of survivors and fighters, as well as their family, friends and members of the general public demonstrating their support for the cause, the event was held in Jakarta and involved a 5K walk along one of the city’s most prominent roads. The Fun Walk also marked the launch of Lovepink’s ‘can4share’ initiative, in which tin piggy banks were distributed amongst participants to be returned with donations upon the conclusion of the organisation’s series of International Breast Cancer Awareness Month events on 26th October.

Recognising the significance of this event in encouraging Indonesians to be proactive in taking steps to identify the disease, Sunpride® provided participants with a wide selection of its fresh fruits and presented information on the various health benefits that each item has to offer. Through its pledge to support organisations and causes that seek to educate the general public on the advantages of healthy lifestyles, Sunpride® has quickly developed a reputation for using its platform of success to improve the livelihoods of communities across the archipelago and will continue to play a key role in fostering a society in which good nutrition and well-being are valued.
