25.01.2016

Trilogi University held a seminar for high school students in cooperation with telecommunications operator 4G LTE Smartfren at its campus on 14th January 2016. The aim of the seminar was to enhance the university’s core philosophy of ‘teknopreneurship’ with the theme, ‘Let’s Get Video Blogging’. The seminar educated visiting high school students how to generate income from video blogging. This demonstrates Trilogi University’s commitment to the advancement of telematics in Indonesia as well as its recognition of the importance of the internet as a learning medium for young Indonesians today.

Participating in the seminar as keynote speaker was the Rector of Trilogi University Prof. Dr. Asep Saefuddin, who was joined at the event by Mr Didi Sulistyo as the content producer of Mobile TV, Mr Ilham Putranto as the Editor of Selular.id and Mr Udaya Rayana as the CEO of Selular Media Group.

Trilogi University through its pioneering Telematics study program and comprehensive curriculum and facilities understands that an eye for innovation and adaptability are must-have competencies for future tech entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The university identifies the need for Indonesia to foster an environment that embraces the entrepreneurial spirit with a strong foundation of knowledge in information, communication and technology (ICT).

Trilogi University actively enhances and encourages creativity amongst its students to confront the challenges of the shortage of qualified human resources amid Indonesia’s ongoing modernisation and turn towards the latest technology. With the government’s push to improve internet connectivity across the archipelago, Indonesia is increasingly moving towards becoming a digital economy driven by e-commerce and social media, and therefore requires a new generation of tech-savvy entrepreneurs.
