The part-time MBA Business Management is designed for those with previous work experience of at least two years that are seeking to enter a managerial post. To meet the time constraints of students in employment, classes are held three times a week and the time for completion is flexible over 18 months. The MBA Business Management programme attracts professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and industries, particularly those involved in energy and natural resources, finance and banking, ICT, and manufacturing.
The MBA Business Management course alternates between classroom-based part time learning and intensive study within a curriculum that has been specifically created to enable students to accelerate the progression of their career. Practical knowledge is expanded upon with the main focus on business management. Universitas Prasetiya Mulya remains committed to creating a study programme which aims to create sustainable businesses to spur development in Indonesia. As such, the first two semesters cover fundamental and core management subjects; courses related to ethics, taxation, legal issues, CSR, MIS and green business are offered in the intensive semester including options for study abroad/immersion projects, certification programmes or other soft skills development courses. The final semester focuses more on strategic business simulation and business plan projects. Students are given the choice between one of two minor focuses in marketing management or financial management.
