The MBA Full Time Programme is an intensive programme which runs for three semesters (18 months) in total and is designed for graduates with an undergraduate degree in any major but limited work experience.
Foundation courses (financial accounting, statistics for business, consumer behaviour and business English) and core business management knowledge (marketing management, operations management, economics for business, corporate financial management, and human resources management) are mandatory for all students in the first two semesters of the course. The final semester covers elective courses, strategy simulation and business planning. Throughout the course, students are exposed to live case studies to actively involve them in the everyday challenges faced by an organisation. This approach ensures that students of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s MBA Full Time Programme are well-adapted to Indonesia’s fast changing business climate. This is in addition to other teaching methods such as focus group discussions and on-the-field projects. The provision of multidisciplinary courses as part of the programme curricula is in keeping with Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s ongoing aim to bring about the creation of original business models offering immense growth potential.
The full time MBA Full Time course also focuses on character building and business skills through soft-skill development relevant to everyday business activities such as negotiations, presentations and workplace communication. Further core business subjects are also covered in the course including Business Law, Business Ethics & CSR, Green Business, Taxation and Information Management Systems. Study abroad programmes, internships or field work projects are offered in the two intensive semesters from May to August.
