On 12th March 2015, Prasetiya Mulya hosted a seminar on ‘Digitising Business: Setting the Stage for Generation Z’ demonstrating its commitment to contribute to the development of businesses in the field of technology, research, and higher education. The event featured a range of topics on maximising the use of technology in driving growth as well as showcasing the progress that has impacted Indonesian businesses in keeping with the country’s move towards a more digitised era. The half-day event was opened by Rector of Prasetiya Mulya School of Business and Economics Prof. Djoko Wintoro, Ph.D. at the Borobudur Hotel in Jakarta. Prominent guests at the seminar also included Expert Staff of the Minister of Technology, Information, Communications and Transportation Dr. Ir. I. Wayan Budiastra as well as a number of senior lecturers from Prasetiya Mulya Business School.
Event participants – primarily decision-makers and C-suite level executives – were provided with detailed programme materials covering trends related to digital technology as well as industry insights on the importance of businesses being able to adapt to technological advancement. Guest speakers at the event including Prasetiya Mulya Business School’s lecturer Mr Henry Pribadi, Ph.D. highlighted the immense potential for product innovation as a means of supporting the digital and creative industry.
