Established in 1974 as the first of Danliris’ operating arms, the Weaving Division through investment in air jet looms and the employment of a longstanding team of vastly experienced workers produces greige fabric used in-house to create designer garments for notable multinational corporations. With 552 shuttle looms and 490 air jet looms capable of producing upwards of 65 million metres of unfinished fabric every year; this division furthers Danliris’ ability to successfully complete large orders from clients requiring finished garments made from the finest fabrics. The company also offers greige fabric to be sold directly to export markets in Europe and Asia.
Central to the success of this labour-intensive division, Danliris weavers are encouraged to participate in the many in-house training programmes made available to them to develop new skills and stay prepared for the implementation of new technologies. This training has afforded employees with the ability to not only produce premium greige fabric but also assess the performance of other weavers, thereby creating a self-reliant production team well prepared to improve efficiency and overcome obstacles that may arise. Moreover, the Weaving Division’s advanced competency has enabled the company to successfully attain product safety accreditation for its woven goods to further consolidate Danliris’ reputation as an internationally-certified textile manufacturer.
As with Danliris’ other textile and garment manufacturing services, the Weaving Division provides a broad spectrum of choices for clients and makes available rare fabrics such as those intricately woven with gold thread rarely produced by other textile companies in Indonesia due to the skill and complexity required. The company’s greige fabric range includes:
