The award is based on a Service Quality Index (SQIndex) survey which was conducted through face-to-face interviews with the public across the cities of Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, as well as Medan from January to March 2017.
In judging this award, respondents of the survey were asked to assess Depo Bangunan on two key factors namely ‘Perceived Service Quality’ — which measures accessibility and quality of the service centre, customer service, and the ability of staff to provide solutions to customer complaints — and ‘Perceived Service Value’ — which measures the price competitiveness for the services provided. As such, product quality and after-sales care have been the primary focus for Depo Bangunan’s expansion across Indonesia; the company provides training to its employees to further improve its after-sales service.
