Established in 1971 as the original manufacturing arm of the Shinta Group, Shinta Indah Jaya has become one of Indonesia’s most prominent textile manufacturers. Through more than 40 years of experience, the company has continuously invested in R&D and modern technology to produce the highest-quality circular, warp, and flat knitted polyester and nylon fabrics. Through this, Shinta Indah Jaya can tailor to the specific requirements of its customers, including some of the world’s leading brands from diverse industries such as Victoria Secret, Adidas, and Lacoste.
Having direct access to a wide selection of yarns through our strategic partnerships, we are well-positioned to develop innovative and functional fabrics using a variety of specialty and performance yarns. This includes permanent moisture-management technology that was developed in-house which utilizes a tetra-capillary action to effectively wick moisture away from the skin, keeping it cool and dry for longer-lasting freshness and improved athletic performance. Furthermore, we provide custom coatings that enhance the properties of the fabrics. From anti-viral and anti-bacterial characteristics, to anti-UV, anti-static, water and oil repellant; SIJ's wide range of special coatings offer added functionality while enhancing the comfort, protection and performance of our client's products.
Standing as the backbone of the company’s operations is its corporate culture. Instilling the values of honesty, integrity, and professionalism, Shinta Indah Jaya adopts a collaborative leadership strategy, through which it leverages the individual strengths of its adept management team whilst actively encouraging its skilled workforce to reach their full potential. This approach has resulted in the continuous improvements of the company’s operations and has helped maintain the highest standards of quality at every stage of production.
Going forward, Shinta Indah Jaya has plans to explore new niche markets for apparels and footwear, specifically in the active performance and athleisure segments, as it continuously responds to changing market forces, technology, and customer needs.

Shinta Indah Jaya’s factory is strategically located in the city of Tangerang in Banten province, in which textile manufacturing has become one of the largest contributors to the local economy. Our factory has direct access to major transportation links that connects the city to the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport as well as the Tanjung Priok seaport. The company is currently building a new factory in West Java and will increase its capacity to 400MT of fabrics per month by 2020 — doubling its current capacity of 200MT per month.
Shinta Indah Jaya views the US and EU as its potential target markets in addition to emerging economies such as Brazil, Russia, and Chile — the latter signed a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with Indonesia in 2017. Moreover, the company is preparing to enter the Australian market as the country has the highest per capita spending on apparels in addition to the anticipated CEPA signing with Indonesia in 2018.
At Shinta Indah Jaya, we believe in taking care to protect the local environment for the benefit of all stakeholders, including our customers. This means taking steps today which are not always the easiest or most profitable so that they pay back in the future.
