On 7th February 2017, Perbanas Institute signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with South Korea’s Sun Chon National University in a measure that will seek to further strengthen Perbanas’ quality of education. This latest measure served as a continuation of Perbanas Institute’s increasingly active role in partnering alongside higher education institutions and organisations from South Korea. Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs and Finance of Perbanas Institute, Dr. Wiwiek Prihandini, M.M., Ak., CA. as well as Mr Park Jinsung as President of Sun Chon National University carried out the MOU signing that took place at Perbanas’ main campus in Jakarta. Attendees at the event also included Perbanas Institute’s senior-level management staff members comprising of deans and directors as well as Mr Christ Chang, BSc. as Chairman of the Indonesia Korea Culture and Study among many others.
The partnership with Sun Chon National University encompasses the scope of curriculum development, faculty and student exchange programmes, research and publication initiatives, cooperation for seminar and conference events in addition to general academic affairs. By engaging with esteemed partners that have achieved excellence in quality higher education, Perbanas Institute is poised to propel its already prominent name in Indonesia’s higher education industry. Moving in-line with its South Korea-focused approach, Perbanas Institute has also forged ties with the Indonesia Korean Culture and Study; through this mutual agreement, Perbanas Institute will establish a Korea Center to provide students and staff members with educational tools regarding education, culture, and arts in South Korea.
