The MOU focused on the topic of 'Improving Correctional Officers’ Capacity through Entrepreneurship' and will see Perbanas Institute work alongside the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on information exchange, training activities, and a range of other joint initiatives. Furthermore, the MOU signing symbolises both organisations’ dedication to improving human capital through the utilisation of technology transfer. Perbanas Institute has accumulated years of experience in training and education hence moving forward with the MOU makes the institution the ideal partner to encourage entrepreneurship amongst correctional officers as well as inmates hoping to make a fresh start and contribute to the community.
The partnership between Perbanas Institute and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights is poised to serve as a leading example of cooperation between the higher education sector and the government aimed at improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia.
